Plant-Environment Interactions

  • Description: sensing/responding to abiotic cues (drought, heat, light); hypothesize molecular mechanisms; interpret experimental data; concludes with a short writing assignment and AI policy/use workshop.

Applied Plant Biology

  • Description: applying plant science to biotechnology, breeding, sustainability; exposure to the green sector via guest lectures.
  • Group project: develop an applied research proposal in a competitive funding format; peer review; mock funding committee; oral defense.
